Tourists from all over the world visit to this site and remain desperate to explore the Buckingham Palace history. Today, the Buckingham Palace is used to host various Royal occasions like the state entertainment. Now the Buckingham Palace has became among the best-known tourist attractions in the entire world. However, the palace has started its life as Buckingham House and has the ability to trace back to more than 500 years. The Buckingham Palace has total four major attractions to see and explore – the Goring House, the Arlington House, Buckingham House, and from Queen’s House to Palace.

The land where the palace lies was once a marshland and was located besides the river Tyburn. You can still see the running river that flows below the courtyard and the south wing of the extensive development. The first house that was built on the location was completed in the year 1624 under the instructions of Sir William Blake. Many controversies and confusions occurred about the owner of the palace for several years, as there were no hardcore evidences.

Well, the first major building at the site was the Goring House. The house was burnt down in the year 1674 and the Arlington House is considered as the south wing of the present palace. In the year 1761, the Buckingham House was sold for £21,000 to George III and was initially obtained as a private move away for the Royal family. The palace is comprised of 77,000 square metres of floor space that is extended across many highly imposing rooms. This floor space is used for different functions, staffing requirements, and entertainment.

The Buckingham Palace also has its own picture gallery, which is comprised of various works done by Rembrandt, van Dyck, Rubens, and Vermeer. Many of the pictures are even priceless. The palace has many state rooms that were named after the VIP visitors who frequently traveled to this site from all over the world just to visit the Royal family. Overall, the palace has total 19 state rooms, 52 principal bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms, 92 offices, and huge 78 bathrooms.

Many attempts have also undertaken to bomb the Buckingham Palace during the time of World War I, but World War II has damaged a major part of the surrounding buildings. So if you are interested to see and reveal the Buckingham Palace history, then head to this major attraction and make your vacation special.

Someone said a correct phrase – The World is not enough. In this world, you will get many different kinds of attractions that draw millions of tourists to explore it. The same in London, you will get many major attractions to explore. Out of that, one attraction has gained world popularity due to its unique feature. ‘The London Dungeon’ is actually of the major attractions of London that lies in the Tooley Street close to the London Bridge rail station. It brings the history of different tortures from the Medieval Age.

The London Dungeon presents all the past brutal and ghastly historical events in a severely comedic, gallows homour style. It is simply some of the attempts to make appeal to the younger generation. The London Dungeon uses an assortment of live actors, special effects and the fascinating and thrilling rides. Opened in the year 1976, the London Dungeon was initially a museum of horrible history that was later evolved to become an interactive experience through the actors that pulls visitors from every corner of the country and the world.

London Dungeon is operated by the Merlin Entertainments that also operates other famous attractions like Madame Tussauds, Legoland, London Eye, Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures, Heide Park, Sea Life, Gardaland, and Warwick Castle. The interior of London Dungeon is heavily themed with the flame effects, tolling bells, and different still scenes of torture for the visitors.

The scenes in London Dungeon, which you can explore, are:
• Labyrinth of the Lost
• The Great Plague
• Surgery: Blood and Guts
• Traitor: Boat Ride To Hell
• Sweeney Todd
• Great Fire of London
• Extremis: Drop Ride to Doom
• Bloody Mary: Killer Queen

Labyrinth of the Lost is a large mirror maze that is themed around the crypt of All Hallows Church in London.

The Great Plague was started in the year 1665 at the time of the Great Plague of London. London was described as puzzled with bubonic plague due to which thousands were died. You can hear the recorded cries that are of panic and pain and shouts simply to bring out the dead.

The Great Plague was later closed to open a new attraction in the year 2009 that is Surgery: Blood and Guts. It introduces the 18th century butcher surgeon of Tooley Street. Here you will get full of fresh body parts, rusty blood covered surgical instruments, dog-eared anatomical diagrams, puss-ridden bandages, surplus or partly dissected corpses of earlier patients.

Traitor: Boat Ride to Hell is a show of boat ride that is themed to duplicate the last journey into the Tower of London through Traitors’ Gate. The London Dungeon is an attraction that cannot be found in other place in the world and is heavily themed that gives scary as well as humorous events to the tourists. So be the one to see the one in London.

She spent her entire life in making her dream come true. She settled down in London’s Baker Street in the year 1835. During that time, she opened a museum that named as Madame Tussauds Wax Museum with plenty of her modelled collections. Before the establishment of this museum, Marie gained world-popularity. The models look so real that you cannot differentiate if the star will stand along with his/her figure.

The major attraction of the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is the Chamber of Horrors where you can see victims of the French Revolution along with the figures of murderers and other criminals. This gallery includes nearly 400 distinct figures, but due to the fire damage in the year 1925 and German bombs in the year 1941, majority of the older models has been non-operational.
