• The Roman Colosseum was in the beginning known as the Flavian Amphitheater.
• The Roman Colosseum is a gigantic building of the ancient Roman Empire.
• During 70 AD, the Roman Emperor Vespasian was initiated the construction of the colosseum. He was also the creator of the Flavian dynasty.
• After the death of the Emperor, the Colosseum was finished construction in 80 AD.
